 Main Event Results UFC 101
At UFC 101 the 1st of the 2 main events was Griffin Vs Silva. While Griffin ran to the ring like he was on a mission, about 2 minutes in Silva was already toying with Griffin, taunting him, knocking him down with punches and than offering him a hand up like he usually does making fun of his opponents. I do not know if Griffin was that bad tonight or Silva is just that much better than all the fighters at 186 to 206LB classes. He made short work of Griffin with a short knock out punch in the first round.
BJ Penn Vs Kenny Florian was the 2nd Co main event of the evening. I thought Florian would fair against Penn much better than he did. Florian landed next to nothing on Penn and spent most of his time pinning him up against the cage looking for the take down. Penn easily controlled the first 3 rounds by the 4th round Florian looked confused and tired and Penn then took him down easily got him in his ground grapple game pounded him some more and eventually got the rear naked choke on him approx 4 mins in the 4th round for the win.
